Fuel Tanker Accident in Benue State, Nigeria

Lagos, July 2, 2019 – Total Nigeria Plc learned about the accident involving a petroleum product distribution truck which occurred on Monday July 01 in Benue state.


Some pictures on the web referring to the accident display a Total branded vehicle.


Total Nigeria Plc confirms that this truck was not anymore part of Total’s contracted fleet and was not transporting products on behalf of Total Nigeria Plc or any other Total subsidiaries at the time of the accident.


Total Nigeria Plc expresses its sincerest condolences to the families of the victims of this tragic accident.
